Diinef is a high-tech company based in the southern part of Norway. It was startet as a spin-off from ChapDrive that developed high efficient hydraulic drive trains for wind turbines. These drive trains used MW-size digital hydraulic motors to obtain control and efficiency.

Diinef was founded in 2013 and adapted the digital technology for High Torque Low Speed (HTLS) Motors.

 

Together with Imenco Bauer Hydraulics the first digital motor prototype was tested in 2015.

 

Imenco Bauer Hydraulics and Diinef launched the first Digital HTLS motor at Nor-Shipping in May 2017.

In 2019 secondary control of a regenerative winch with multi digital hydraulic motors was demonstrated in the MIL labaratory in Grimstad, and in 2020 electro-hydraulic hybrid winch drives were demonstrated.
